Infant Opening

Just a quick update. We have an rare opening.
The Infant opening (6 weeks to 1yr old) starts December 1st. We are taking Hold / Waitlist names for this spot.
OR
a Toddler opening (1yr old to 3 yrs old) starting October 1st.

Tours for both are on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested please call and set a time up.

School is here

We are wrapping up the summer of splashing and fun. With just a few weeks left until school starts we are enjoying every minute of popsicles, sprinklers, and chalk drawings. Around here my oldest will start 1st grade on August 18 and the following week the second daughter will go into pre-K. Our preschool program will begin in September.

We do not have any openings currently for any age. We are expecting openings Next Summer in 2016. We are accepting names on the waitlist for that spot. The start date for that spot is inconclusive at this time.

This summer has been lots of fun exploring the great out doors. Now it is time to get ready for school. Our exciting program is gearing up for a year of music, animal enrichment, and reading readiness.

New Opening

Spring has sprung! We have one new opening for an infant under 9 months old. We are open M-Th 8am to 6pm. We offer music and animal enrichment classes, a play-based curriculum, early reading when the children are ready, sign language, and fun learning activities all year long. Care can start as early as mid May. Come join our crew of critters as we explore the world outdoors this summer.

Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas to all. The months of November and December flew past. I hope everyone has has a blessed holiday. We remain closed until January 2, 2014. How fun to put up a new calendar!

Our wait lists have been stopped and openings have been filled. We are officially looking like a 3 under 2 home child care license type. This means starting in April we will have 3 children under the age of 2 years old. The infant and toddler class was so much fun to complete and I am bursting with ideas for the new year. There does not look like there will be any new openings for quite some time since my own children will keep me at my max of 6 kids. Thanks to all who have been interest in the opening. January will be an exciting and busy month. For my family it is the month of birthdays: 3 grandparents out of 4, 1 husband, and 1 daughter all have birthdays over the next 3 weeks.
Kindergarten registration is also coming up. So if you know of children reaching that age maybe give a friendly reminder of the upcoming enrollment date which is in February.

October

October is here! This is my favorite month. The harvest the costumes its all great. I hope everyone is enjoying the chilly weather now too. We are all very excited to watch the leaves change colors and eat some of the yummy foods that have been growing all summer long.

Openings in our home have changed. We no longer have an above 2 year old opening. A wait list has been started on the infant spot. I will have an opening for an infant starting late January early February once my new Infant License is in place. I am opening a wait list for that spot. The way that works is once I have confirmation from Licensing that there is an available spot for a new infant I start calling from the top of the wait list. Once a person is called they have 72 hours to respond with a yes or no to the available spot or I move on to the next person on the list. If you are wanting to do a tour now for that spot the timing is perfect.

September & School starts

We have a rare infant opening. I am looking for someone who can come 4 days a week Monday through Thursday 8am-6pm. 2 months old and up are all welcome!

We also have another spot available for Full or Part Time over the age of 2 yrs.

Looking ahead... I will be getting my infant and toddler license in January. This means I will be specializing in younger children. Ratio's will be kept low, so one on one attention is a priority. So in January I will be accepting another child under the age of 2 years old.

The start of the school year is here! We have started preschool lessons again and are excited to incorporate our new reading program that starts at 2 1/2 years old. We have had huge success with our 4 year old learning to read this way and can't wait to teach it to more. At 4 years old our daughter is reading 2nd grade books, wouldn't it be exciting to see your child doing the same.

Things have changed a bit around here. After going through cancer with our youngest daughter we have decided to keep Friday's flexible. I can care for other children on Friday's on an as needed basis-no more than 2 times a month. This flexibility is to take our youngest to appointments required post chemo. Thank you for understanding and I hope this will work with everyone just fine.
